What Is the MLP Format?

MLP (Major League Pickleball) is a team-based format designed to create fun, competitive, and social play.

Instead of playing with just one partner, players compete as part of a team, rotating through matches so everyone contributes to the overall team score.

How It Works

• Teams are made up of 4 players

• Each match consists of:

  • Men’s Doubles

  • Women’s Doubles

  • Two Mixed Doubles matches

• Every game is played to 21 points, rally scoring

• Each game won earns 1 point for the team
